Detroit,The dead city that is so alive

My first view of Motown was traumatizing. I thought about all the gun wielding gangsters in a post apocalypse flick. well I had to study here and so I came here anyway and surprisingly it was far from what I imagined it to be.
I am an outdoor person so I got an old 1974 schwinn road bike and desided to explore the city and test the claims of everyone. Yes there are a lot of empty burned out buildings and poor people but they are always polite and always greet you.
How I wish I could see Downtown Detroit in its heyday. Magnificent buildings, mostly empty or for lease now. The cars are so cool too running low profile tires and dubs is the in thing. Nice muscle cars are plenty. Also you can see the worst junkers!! I saw a car with plastic bags for doors!! I laughed at a girl in college who said she wanted to visit India and do some charity and help the poor. Any I shall not ramble on. Here are some sights and sounds of Motown
